Learn to paint with acrylics
For the past ten years the Insight School of Art has been running twelve week Introduction to Painting classes for absolute beginners with great success. We feel that by teaching and demonstrating a few different things each week our students gain the confidence to produce paintings on their own or join a higher level of class at the school.
In September it is the turn of An Introduction to Acrylics again. So if you’re not sure how to use acrylics and would like to have a go, come and learn the following:
Paint tone
Use acrylic medium
Mix colours
Paint like Monet
Paint a simple still life
Use retarder
Paint clouds like Constable
Use textured paste
Paint trees
Paint in perspective
Paint a landscape
Show aerial perspective
Use a palette knife
Paint snow
and Paint a face.
We know it sounds like a lot of things but we’ve done it for a decade know and have it off to a tea.
