A couple of reminders
Friday 1st July (4 – 5pm): Meet the Level 4 students.
Level 4 students will be available to meet you in the Insight School gallery on July 1st to answer questions about their work and the course so far. This is free of charge and open to members and non members.
The last couple of weeks have been very successful for three Level 4 students who have all sold work. Congratulations to Helen Lee (two watercolours), Berry Birdsall (three acrylics) and Janet Gardener (completed commission for a dog portrait). The idea of the course was for students to launch themselves as professional artists at the end of the year but I don’t think they mind that this has come early.
Sunday 3rd July (10am – 5pm): Charity painting competition at the East Barnet Festival.
We really need more people to draw and paint at the East Barnet Festival in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society, and more people to help on the stall selling paintings for an hour or two from 12pm. Please let me know if you can get involved. It’ll be a lot of fun and it’s for a really good cause.
