An educational and fun two day oil painting workshop, focusing on landscape and portrait painting.

  • An introduction to painting in oils
  • Colour mixing for landscape
  • Landscape painting styles
  • Composition
  • Landscape painting on canvas

  • Day 2:
  • An introduction to sketching the face
  • Tonal painting sketches
  • Portrait painting styles
  • Colour mixing
  • Portrait painting on canvas

    • Students will be using water-soluble oil paints which don’t require harmful solvents.

    Teachers are supported by two studio assistants.

    No previous experience required / All materials provided

    Maximum class size for this workshop is 16.
