Join professional abstract artist Joanna Gilbert for a repeat of October's fast paced and fun packed day of expressive mark making.

Jo will be starting the day with a short presentation about her practice and a demonstration, where she will reveal some of her fascinating painting secrets. The majority of the time in the morning will be devoted to taking part in a series of fast paced drawing and painting exercises, helping students to loosen up their painting technique and find their own personal colour palette and signature marks.

After a short lunch, participants will spend the afternoon applying their new skills and knowledge to one metre plus canvas.

This is a great opportunity to learn from a master of abstract painting! Joanna Gilbert is represented in the UK by Avivson Gallery and Linda Blackstone Gallery, internationally by Renko London, as well as being the first Honorary Member of Studio Fridays. This workshop is most suitable for students who have had some painting experience in the past.

All materials provided.

Please bring your own lunch (no nut products).
