Opportunities for artists at ISoA in 2013

Above is a photo of Richard Greaves, Helen Ryan and Clive Patterson celebrating having their work shown in a Cork Street Gallery; just behind the Royal Academy and probably the best known street of commercial galleries in London. Just over a year and a half ago all three artists had just started on our ‘Level 4: How to be a successful practising artist’ course, and now they’re exhibiting in Cork Street. Pretty amazing uh?

If you are planning to exhibit and sell paintings we have some really useful opportunities for you in 2013 which you can book now.

Below is a summary. Please follow the links if you would like more information.

Level 4: How to be a successful practising artist
£1250 pa

Our famous two year rolling programme for painters looking to learn how to get their work seen and sold.

Studio space

We currently have shared studio space remaining on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in our lower studio in 2013. Bookable for periods of 6 or 12 months, it’s an affordable* way to work alongside other artists in a creative space.

*12 months studio space, one day each week, works out at no more that £13 a session.

Individual mentoring

Regular ‘check ups’ to help artists develop their practice, engage in critical discussion and keep focused on their short and long term goals.

We have availability for 45 minute monthly mentoring sessions on the third Friday of every month, as well as a limited number of weekly and fortnightly sessions.

Insight’s Artist Network
£585

Twelve fast paced workshop days throughout the year on the first Friday of each month and inclusion in a thriving email network between artists. The Artist Network is a pro-active creative community of visual artists whose aims are to advance their practice, raise their profile and to exhibit their work.

All of these opportunities will be offered to suitable people on a first come first served basis so it is recommendable to get in touch now to arrange your informal interview.

Most of these opportunities are suitable for booking together except Level 4 and Insight’s Artists Network which occur on the same day. Last year’s MaSS was a combination of Mentoring, Network and Studio Space, but we have decided to offer them separately this year, allowing you to decide the best combination for your artistic needs.

If you think this could be for you, just email back to arrange a visit.
All the best,
Paul Regan
