Learn to paint in oils
For the past ten years the Insight School of Art has been running twelve week Introduction to Painting classes for absolute beginners with great success. We feel that by teaching and demonstrating a few different things each week our students gain the confidence to produce paintings on their own or join a higher level of class at the school.
In January it’s the turn of An Introduction to Oils again (we use the relatively new ‘Artisan Watermixable Oils’ so there is no smelly turpentine making you dizzy). So if you’re not sure how to use oils and would like to have a go, come and learn the following:
