Insight School of Art Painting Competition

With over 150 paintings on show and a full house at the Private View, the first Insight School of Art Painting Competition and exhibition was a huge success!
Thank you to everyone who submitted a painting, as every painting contributed to the success of the exhibition. Thank you also to everyone who braved the pouring rain to visit the exhibition and hear the winners names announced.
Thank you to our teachers Celestine Thomas and Matt Davies who judged the adult competition and Mick Kirkbride and Karen Walters who judged the children’s. With so much excellent work on show, it was a very difficult task.
Every visitor was asked to vote for their favourite painting for the Visitors Choice Awards. The winner and runner up are announced below.
Prizes were kindly donated by art material shops, Cass Art and Russell and Chapple, as well as from ourselves at Insight.
