Don’t miss the highlight of the year
The 17@insight exhibition this weekend marks the end of an amazing year at Insight School of Art.
Over the past eleven months I have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to mentor these seventeen amateur painters, all wanting to learn how to make and exhibit art in professional capacity. It has been an amazing journey for all of them, from skilled amateur painters to artists who have successfully produced their first solid, consistent body of work showing very commendable quality and depth.
I have had the pleasure of witnessing this new group of painters work together, inspire and support each other, and make lifelong friendships. There has been a huge amount of learning in a very short period of time, some tears and lots of success and joy.
At 12.30pm this Saturday, the doors will open for you to see how much the seventeen artists have achieved. The whole downstairs space of the school is being used to display nearly 200 paintings. Please come along with your family and friends to see the amazing range of work on show and to meet the artists and talk to them about the unique and personal ideas behind their art.
The 17@insight exhibition is open at Insight School of Art this weekend on Saturday from 12.30pm – 8pm and Sunday from 12pm – 6pm.
