Conditions for enrolment for childrens classes and workshops

All materials and equipment will be provided. Some lessons will involve the use of acrylic paint which sticks to clothes when dry. Please ensure that your child wears old clothing or and 'art shirt' over clothing. Artwork may still be wet when taking your child home.

Your child should arrive with a drink and a small snack for term time classes and a packed lunch for classes that included a lunch break.

Your child should arrive to the art department five minutes before the start of class. It is usually the case that most important information will be given at the start of the lesson.

Parents should come to the classroom to collect their child at the end of the session. Children will be kept in the class until collected but please be aware that most classes have a class following.

We hope that your child enjoys the classes. We try to deliver lessons in a fun and lively way. However, it is our main objective to significantly raise their achievement through a committed approach to making art. Their behaviour should therefore be appropriate.

All correspondence should be made directly to Insight at PO Box 3399, Barnet EN5 9DN.

When a cancellation is required by you before the start of term, a 25% administration charge will be made or, in cases where deposit has been made the whole amount will be forfeited.

Any balance to be paid for the term must be done so at the first lesson.

When cancellation of half a term or more is necessary by you during the term, the remaining lessons may be transferred to another class of the same value during the next term if places are available one week before the start date. It is not possible to make any changes to the details of the class programme.

Young artists who attend classes are expected to behave in a safe, friendly and sensible manner at all times. Any student who breaks any rule set by the course leader will risk being asked to leave. Money will only be refunded if the class is full and a replacement is found.

Please dont hesitate to contact Insight at any time if you have questions.

Conditions for enrolment for adult classes and workshops

You are required to provide your own equipment for level 2/1, 2 and 3 classes. Equipment is provided for level 1, life drawing and childrens classes. Insight is able to provide started kits at discounted rates.
All materials are provided for holiday workshops but you may wish to provide your own.

Parking is available at the rear of the building and on the road side in the marked bays. Please be careful not to block the driveways of local residents.

People attending acrylic or oil painting classes should wear appropriate clothing.

Tea and coffee is provided during class for adults.

Please don't hesitate to contact us on 020 8441 6153 if you have any questions.

If you require to cancel your application before the start, a 25% administration charge will be made per person per course, except where a deposit has been paid where the whole deposit will be lost.

If you require a cancellation of half a term or more during the term, the remaining lessons may be transferred to another course of the same value during the next term if places are available one week before the start date. It is not possible to make up individual days or refund money once term has started.

Insight reserves the right to make any changes to the details of the course programme.
