New teacher: Eleanor Langton

We are so lucky to have Eleanor Langton, another brilliant art teacher joining us at Insight School of Art.

Eleanor’s practice focuses on drawing and painting still-life objects that reference the mid-century era. She’s interested in playing with perspective and using bold colours and patterns.

In 2016 Eleanor won the Publicity Prize and the Artists Prize from the Royal Watercolour Society. She also participated in the Herts Open Studio and was interviewed by Artist Magazine and Cass Art.

Eleanor earned a degree in painting from the Rhode Island School of Design in the US before teaching Art, Design and Photography at Secondary level, having earning a PGCE from the Institute of Education in 2010.
