ISoA teacher selected for Eastern Approaches

Huge congratulations to Insight School of Art teacher Rob Verrill who has been selected for the contemporary “Eastern Approaches” exhibition at the UH Galleries at St Albans Museum for the second year running. The exhibition runs from 6th December to 11th January.

Rob believes that “every artwork should open up a world of possibilities”. For him, “decisions about colour, texture and form occur continually as a painting develops, altering the route to the outcome. His says that his works “represent a dialogue between abstraction and his subconscious sense of the body. Bursts of intense, instinctive painting, interwoven with periods of reflection, reveal layered structures and an abstract beauty and rhythm”.

Have a look at his website to see more works but better still, head over to the exhibition to see them in the flesh.
