Watercolour and Oil Painting

The current Monday and Thursday evening watercolour class have reqested three lessons of oil paintng tuition during the summer term. Weeks 1-3 will focus on oil painting tuition and weeks 7-9 on watercolour. All other lessons will be for students to develop their project work. All oil paintig equipment will be provided, though students are required to provided watercolour equipment.

All painting classes at the Insight School of Art are planned to help students improve their skills, knowledge and technique. Experienced teachers plan detailed lessons and offer expert guidance in four traditional subject areas: Landscape, Still Life, Abstract and People.

Each term is divided into six individual teacher lead workshops and two three week blocks for each students to make paintings of their own choice, with help from their teacher.

A small amount of painting and drawing equipment is required for these classes. A list will be sent to students before the start of term. Insight is able to provide Winsor and Newton starter kits for all mediums for 15% less than the rrp.
