Chalk pastels: A winter scene

Chalk pastels are the perfect medium to recreate the subtle tones and colours reflected in snow. Following an inspiring demonstration from pastel expert Di Roberts showing how to get the best out of the medium, the rest of the day will be given to producing a sustained, finished winter scene, just in time for printing your own Season’s Greetings cards.

All materials and photographs of winter scenes will be provided, though students may wish to bring their own image to work from.
