A brand new set of short tasks using chalk pastels which will prove to be excellent revision for students who already use chalk pastels as well as being a valuable introduction for new comers.

During the morning, Di Roberts will be guiding students through a series of exercises looking at mark-making, blending tones and colours, creating textures and effects, and layering to add depth.

The afternoon session will be given to developing a still life image, though students with previous experience may wish to bring their own choice of subject matter.

All materials will be provided.
