Insight's level one introduction to painting and drawing classes are extremely popular courses for people who have had no previous tuition using the advertised medium. Detailed instruction is given throughout the term, teaching a wide range of painting and drawing techniques. During this practical course, students will be guided each step of the way to achieve successful landscape and still life images. The course leader will give demonstrations and show examples of work by artists who have used similar subjects and materials. Each lesson is carefully designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge required to produce artwork independently and the confidence to join specialised courses in the future.
