Conquering perspective

Using the paintings of Canaletto as reference, Di Roberts will guide students through the principals of perspective and explain why we shouldn’t be afraid of it.

Students will be taught how to reconstruct one of Canaletto’s Venice compositions, firstly using line to show visual perspective, followed by applying tone to show aerial perspective to give the impression of near and far.

All materials will be provided.
